The target market is vulnerable sector of population, especially widows and elderly women with children. The main goal is to make financial resources accessible and affordable to empower them so that they become sustainable eventually. Lessons learned till now:1) By giving loans it is possible to solve short term issues. In the long term poverty can be solved by education. 2) Very small amount of money can create huge positive impact.The money they ask varies from 40 euros - 70 euros.3) Money given as a loan (might be interest free) has many lives and it is more effective in solving poverty issues comparing to donation. Because clients try to use the loan efficiently.4) Family group loan is more effective where all family members are responsible for the loan.5) Borrowers can be turned into donors and investors. Suffering person can understand the situation of another suffering person. So, there is kind of emotional connection between poor people. I tested clients by asking them to help another poor person and 99% of clients gave money.This is one of the ways of making an organization sustainable. But the challenge is about creating transparent organization where money really goes to the poor.6) Our mindset, wrong beliefs, unfair rules and institutions make people poor. Usually burden is passed to borrowers as high interest rates. We need to find ways of empowering them so that they can come out of poverty. Show less
