APn develops initiatives across education, professional development and charity. The educational initiatives are to facilitate knowledge sharing, while professional development aims to connect and support the professional community and the charitable initiatives are in areas of social and socio-economic development in Afghanistan.

My role was to bring sponsorship revenue on launch events for the Oil and Gas, Shipping, Microfinance and Pharmaceutical Industries while also building the brand on those areas. The majority of my clients were in the US, Canada or Europe with some projects in the MENAT region as well. Worked closely with clients on understanding their target market to create a package, that was suited to their budget while meeting their business requirements needs.

Joined the company in its launch year so had exposure to key launch events for the aviation, rail and metro industries. Took part in roundtable meetings with key clients and supported onsite delivery.

Sold within the legal, tax and financial sectors in Europe with new and repeat clients. Developed, trained and managed a sales team for legal and tax summits in Europe. This includes the European Corporate Counsel Summit and the European Tax Summit. Worked very closely with clients on their business development requirements before, onsite and after each event.

Started as a delegate sales executive for the European market, promoted to assistant manager within 8 months. Developed, trained and managed the delegate acquisition sales team both in the office and onsite at events. Worked within Europe and the Middle East across varied sectors including; finance, legal, tax, F&B and marketing.The onsite role consisted of leading the delegate acquisition department and working with a team onsite ensuring the smooth delivery of 30 meetings taking place concurrently every 20 minutes.
