Providing counselling to survivors of gender-based violence. Providing legal advice to women survivors of domestic violence. Conducting discussions on different topics to sensitize women. Teaching women different skills which enable them to live independently. Mentoring pregnant teenagers throughout their stay in the shelter. Referring clients to appropriate organizations. Contacting relatives of clients to discuss the welfare of clients. Making appropriate care plans and discharge plans for clients. Making follow ups on clients after their discharge. Making files for each client.

Working with vulnerable people (individuals, patients and families) who are in deep emotional distress or who may be a danger to themselves or others. Procuring social diagnosis, treatment plans and offering counseling services. While at the institution I worked with in and out patients, in prisons, in children's homes and in the community.
