Presently heading Special Education Needs department at Khaitan School Noida India.Worked in K12 Middle School in Greenville USA as Multi categorical teacher. She has successfully reached out students with different abilities accessing curriculum in United States of America. Previously worked in Step By Step School, a leading school in Noida, India . As an in-charge Kuheli played important role in overseeing and guiding teachers in the department. She is sensitive and professional in her instructions with staff and parent inculcating a positive environment in the workplace. She had been a prime mover and instrumental in collating materials and techniques and knowledge for intervention based pedagogy. Her expertise is specifically to deal with disabilities like Learning Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and Down syndrome. She has been instrumental to invent process and innovate personalized activities and programmes as per the specific and altering needs of each student.Kuheli has been responsible to help students with Augmentative and Alternative Communication needs in the school through the app Suno bolo Sunao. She also has co presented a paper on the same. She has conducted training workshops for special educators with different workshops taken for teachers (AAC, Math, Goal planning and report writing, understanding disability like Cerebral palsy –understanding the disability and intervention). She has also conducted CRE workshop on early intervention for student- teachers. She rendered direction/ guidance to teachers to use appropriate methodologies and strategies, effective Goal planning and Reporting for students.Kuheli also played a significant role in setting up of Special Education cell in Apeejay school Kolkata, at a time when not many schools in India followed inclusive practices. Kuheli started her journey as an educational therapist and early intervention specialist in Centre for Special Education, IICP Kolkata.
