Passionate about using technology to solve real problems. My first contact with computer programming was back in 2000, writing custom mIRC scripts to play text based multiplayer games with my friends online.Moved by the powers of human-computer interaction, I focused my career on bringing people and information together with technology through web and mobile applications. I was fortunate to do so on several projects in my professional experience such as BID Management, a private platform built to drive better decisions on online advertisement investments, Granatum, a finance manager for small business focused on ease of use and simplicity and BLZ, a mobile app that finds professional manicures for at home nail care services.Early on my career, I learned that programming is only one of the many skills I should have to solve real problems. Practicing agile methodologies allowed me to break problems in manageable tasks and deliver more value in less time and starting a startup helped me see how my code fits within a company big picture.I graduated in Computer Science at Mackenzie University in São Paulo and although my formal education helped me dive deep on topics I probably wouldn't otherwise, most of my real world knowledge comes from my hacking mindset and an active participation on Agile Development groups.
