The Urgenda Foundation aims for a fast transition towards a sustainable society with a circular economy.

In 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2020 elected as one of ´the Sustainable Young 100´ (DJ100).The DJ100 provides an overview of young entrepreneurs, young professionals and students who demonstrate that a sustainable future is possible. These frontrunners are a source of inspiration for each other and the current stakeholders! Every year a 10-strong jury will choose the 100 most inspiring young front runners (aged 32 or younger).

The interests of future generations are not safeguarded currently in the Netherlands. The government and the business are guided by the long-term effects of their involvement on people who are yet to be born. The Lab Future Generations will change the society in which these generations end up inclusive and sustainable.

The Worldconnectors - a cross-generational network of opinion leaders varying from government, politics, media, NGO's up to the scientific-, research- and spiritual communities - develop new strategies and visions based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.In the workgroup Future Generations we actively try to embed - social and institutional - an Ombudsperson Future Generations in the Netherlands.

I have been backpacking throughout Asia (from Estonia to Vietnam) and South America (from Colombia to Bolivia) overland for almost 6 months. It was an unforgettable experience in which I met people from all over the world. Moreover, I learned Spanish in the first part of my trip throughout Asia. I improved my Spanish in the second part of my trip by spending time with local people.

Graduate thesis of the master Energy and Environmental Sciences.Department: Water, Landbouw en Voedsel (WLV).During this internship, I developed and used scenario-based approaches to address the global challenge of feeding the predicted world population by 2050 without irrevocably damaging our natural environment.Supervisors: Prof. dr. Graduate thesis of the master Science, Business and Policy.Department: Sustainable Business Development.During this internship, I analysed the potential and limitations of the algae branch from a resource efficiency perspective. Finally, I made recommendations for the Rabobank regarding this new branch.Supervisors: Drs. A.J. Abma (RuG), Dhr. D. Schipper (Rabobank) and Drs. D. Dijk (Rabobank).

Board member (External Relations) of Bèta Bedrijvendagen: a two-day career event for the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FWN) connected to the University of Groningen (RuG). During this year I was primarily responsible for managing relationships with the companies and contract negotiations.Additionally, I initiated the idea to provide a conference about 'Business startup and Entrepreneurship' during these days. I elaborated this idea and took the responsibility of this successful conference.

Scientific research and fieldwork about the influence of testosterone on sexual behaviour of female blue tits (Cyanistes caeruleus).- 5 Months full-time fieldwork.- Statistical data analysis.- Written a scientific paper about this topic.

An education and community-based program to make people more aware about the threatening situation of the cheetah. I organized day activities such as encounters, guided tourist groups and informed local people about the problems and possible solutions of the free ranging cheetah. Additionally, dogs were trained to use them by farmers to protect their livestock from the cheetahs.

Order picking and (later) responsible for managing the return of incorrectly ordered products.

Research and statistical data-analysis to assess the environmental factors that affect the butterfly species richness in Catalonia.- Using R statistics and SPSS.- Two months full-time work in Barcelona.
