About Kennis Ku
My interest towards photography and photo retouching have grown since grade 10 when I first brought my own camera. I got highly satisfied from capturing the moment, which triggers me to pursue a higher level of education in the related field.During those years of college, apart from photography, I also developed an interest in the photo retouching field. I consider photo retouching as a kind of art created from images, making the impossible become possible. Therefore, I started my career as a photo retoucher. The longer I work in the industry, the more I learn that photo retouching is not just about altering the content in an image, but also about projecting or even strengthening a message whether or not the subject is a commodity. The motive behind photo retouching increases my liking in this field.Besides photo retouching field, I would expand my career interest in photography and graphic design as well by being a freelancer. One thing I have learned from being a freelancer is how to communicate with clients as they are not familiar with my expertise, as well as setting a production lead time for a project. This also helps me live through a fast-paced working environment as a full-time image editor.
