Telkom Indonesia's new portfolio as the biggest ICT Player and Smart City experience and provider in Indonesia. I currently work in Smart City Development unit in Government Service Division Telkom Indonesia. I design and apply Smart City Nusantara Solution with all Telkom Groups and partners for all Local Government, served by Telkom in Indonesia to build Smarter City with local wisdom values. Telkom Group has developed a solution for transportation and local government assets, especially for city parking management. Electronic Parking or known as e-Parkir.id (in Indonesia) is a city - on street parking - solution made by Telkom Indonesia and will be operated by The Department of Transportation on each city in Indonesia. E-Parkir.id improves parking monitoring process through digital dashboard and mobile application POS and will be operated by field parking officers.This solution is proposed to make an effective and efficient parking process monitoring by The City Government, through The Department of Transportation. Parking transactions will be collected through mobile POS operated by field parking officer and all information will be sent to Telkom Cloud and displayed on the monitoring dashboard in real time. At the end of the day, every information will be reported transparently through the online dashboard monitoring. So with this solution, City's Department of Transportation doesn't have to wait till the end of the week / month to get the complete transaction and retribution report from all of the field officer.This solution adapts local wisdom of the City such as customizing parking fee method (progressive/flat), dispatching different field officer for different area, seasonal/eventual parking location/area, and many others. As we know, Indonesia has a lot of local wisdom especially on each Cities that differs Indonesia to other countries.The main goal is to improve the management of local government original income (known as PAD in Indonesia) effectively and transparently by minimizing field fraud when collecting daily transaction information from field parking officers. Telkom Indonesia commits to build Smarter City in Indonesia using technology to solve City's main problems. Surakarta City (known as Solo), is the first Government who using this technology. Hopefully, this solution will be implemented to 514 local governments in Indonesia.
