The main aim of my role was to engage in business to business consultation regarding marketing and advertising. The basis of the consultation was to increase business exposure and prominence across the UK’s number one directory and social media networks such as facebook, Twitter, major search engines such as Yell.com and the world’s largest, Google. By speaking to business proprietors/ marketing directors I would advise and recommend the most successful marketing campaigns in order to increase sales revenues and business reputation across the UK and local areas dependent upon the business’ needs. Once achieved, the final stage required management of the advertising/marketing campaign to ensure success and ultimately return on investment

I joined Express insurance as a Motorbikes sales agent, being a broker the bikes department would receive high volumes of calls from potential/new bikes riders from across the U.K. My main role was to conduct a computerised quote using a system called Misys’s, once completed I would then obtain quotes from up to 31 different insurance companies, alongside this I would be expected to up-sell additional benefits such as, Legal assistants, Breakdown cover, Gap cover, Personal Injury cover and various others. Over six months I proved to be exceptionally successful and in the month of June 2009 I was offered a secondment to create an outbound sales department, the team was comprised of 7 up-sell agent and two new business sales agents all would contact customers via a dialler system which I also managed the campaigns/leads for, as well as the support/development of the team. One of my biggest achievements in this role was the introduction of the outbound concept at Express as it was predominately an inbound call center with very little outbound activity. Since applying my expertise and extensive background in this field at Express it has lead to a Retention department becoming operational and has become a main focus on all sales departments.

I Joined Homeserve as an Outbound Sales agent were over 15 months I progressed to inbound sales and then retention as a consultant. After achieving great success, in April 2006 I was promoted to the role of induction Trainer after successful interview. As an induction trainer I was responsible for running a 3-6 week induction course which was designed to ensure competence and capability within Homeserve to maximise growth, success and profit. Due to my personal success within all three of Homeserve call centres as a consultant I would now cater for Outbound, Inbound and Retention as a trainer ensuring that support, coaching, and development was at the heart of everything being done at the first stages of employment for all new starters. As part of the training remit at Homeserve Agents/managers would be required to pass assessments on 26 training programs which would be delivered by myself over six weeks, groups would consist of 15-20 people and programs would include, F.S.A, Data protection act, systems, all company products/services etc.
