Never before humans spent so little time outdoors and were so disconnected from nature - there are estimations that people currently spend around 93 percent of their time indoors. I feel it's important to make people fall in love with nature again - for our own sake and for the sake of the planet.Scientific research shows that spending mindful time in nature can work wonders for both the body and the mind. It can decrease stress levels, lower blood pressure, boost the immune system, and improve overall wellbeing. But the benefits don't stop there - studies have also revealed that when people experience nature and develop a stronger connection to it, they are more likely to engage in positive conservation behaviour. After all, we protect what we love.As a certified forest bathing guide, I am on a mission to help individuals reconnect with nature and themselves. - I built a team for a newly established unit; worked across departments and management levels, including direct reporting to the President. - Planned and oversaw the budget, raised third-party funds. - Took part in the creation and executed the international marketing strategy of the University. - Created and managed social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Blog) for international target groups. - Coordinated two web relaunches, worked on information architecture and oversaw continuous quality control. - Developed and created a wide range of information and marketing materials in English, German, Spanish and Portuguese. These included comprehensive guides, brochures, information kits, flyers, branded merchandise, etc. - Developed and implemented new corporate design and style guide for the international print.- Produced 20+ videos for international target groups (incl. script writing, direction and production); organised photo shoots, shoot photos myself.- Represented the University at 30+ international education fairs and road-shows in the USA, India, Brazil, Mexico and Colombia. Coordinated the delegation visits, gave talks and provided one-to-one counselling.- From 2011 to 2014, I was responsible for cooperation development with Latin America.
