Slope: One of the first machines ever invented. It applied a simple understanding of everyday observation - it’s easier to slide something over the wedge than lifting it. It’s the same with every machine invented since then, like wheels, levers, screws, etc.Inventions like these have set humanity on a path where we started solving everyday problems by inventing technologies. In recent times, however, humans are developing technologies so fast that the applications of these inventions are not quite so obvious.I must say, I am privileged to live in the latter times and more so to be working on one of such cutting edge technologies: Additive Manufacturing(AM) or 3D Printing. My AM journey of over half a decade spread over two continents has taught me one important lesson. The lesson: Addressing the problem holistically is the only way of building successful use cases for AM adoption.Following this very lesson, we built our first service -The Swift Insert Service- at the company I confounded MNAM3D. With The Swift Insert Service, we provide the total solution for designing, analysing, 3d printing, finishing, trials and volume production all under one roof.The Result: We are enabling some of the prestigious OEMs to adopt conformal cooling inserts in dozens of moulds reducing cycle times, solving warpage issues, and accelerating ROI on moulds.
