In the 13 years of working at The Haven I achieved the following skills > I line managed a small team of 4 full time staff - Helpline team which is the first point of contact for the city.> 2021 managed 5 refuge seniors & the Helpline team with the day to day running of the accommodation & helpline - regular supervisions, being solution focused, looking at ways to communicate with the hard to reach communities. > I devised a safe referral pathway for women locally or nationally to make their decisions independently or signpost to other agencies that offer the specialist support required. > I worked alongside multi agencies - such as MARAC, Social care, Police, Housing and education, ensuring that we are all working together to protect women and children from violence and abuse. > In 2017 I was awarded the Employee of the year from the Helpline Partnerships. > I supported The Haven with its 1st Helpline accreditation in 2022- completed the assessments, provided the statics and policies.> I developed and delivered Helpline training to internal staff, volunteers and new recruits. > Supported senior management with Helpline and admissions polices. > Completed CAADA risk assessments & other risk assessments at point of referral to ensure the caller is getting the appropriate support and advice. > Completing MARF's, Early Help - for the children> Completed MARAC, GDPR, Domestic abuse, FGM, Modern day slavery, Coercive control, HBV, stalking and harassment training. > Completed Level 4 in supporting High Risk Domestic Abuse Victims and Survivors > Completed safeguarding children & adults training > Completed Designated Safeguarding Lead for children & adults> Supported management with monthly reports and statics - using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets> Attended safeguarding meetings - to look at safety planning without the risk of harm > To be able to listen, communicate with victims and survivors in an non judgmental manner> Managing the data base
