I am a program manager and strategy consultant, with 13 years of experience in reducing barriers, building capacity, and promoting wellness among marginalized communities. Recent Accomplishments: - Led the development of 7 video and radio advertisements in 3 languages for Fraser Health’s toxic drug crisis response campaign, garnering community wide acclaim and engagement. - Secured $112,000 in funding from BC Ministry of Mental Health and Addictions to train 100 South Asian youth mental health ambassadors (currently at 70). - Interviewed on social and health topics by CBC, CTV, Global, Al Jazeera, VICE News, Canadian Press, PressProgress, CKNW, CityNews, OMNI news, RedFM, and many others. - Advised and volunteered with student-led non-profit which has hosted multilingual harm reduction education and naloxone training for over 2000 community members.- Crowdfunded over $10,000 for mental health and substance use training for over 30 truck drivers. - Contributed to planning, translation, proofreading, and reporting for Fraser Health community needs assessment, including a mental health and substance use survey with 840 respondents in 3 languages, and 21 key informant interviews with lived and living experience peers and caregivers.I welcome the opportunity to network with other professionals and exchange ideas.
