I have 15+ years of experience in producing software mainly in embedded telecommunication systems such as 4G / LTE-Advanced Base Station and Interrogation of Friend or Foe system. Currently I am working as a MAC Layer Lead Software Engineer at ULAK Haberleşme A.Ş, on various projects such as 5G, 4G / LTE-Advanced, New4G, NB-IoT, Public LTE (MBMS).My latest previous position in NETAŞ was Software Development Manager for the L2 / MAC team in 4G / LTE-Advanced project.Previously, I have worked as a software engineer and architect in other embedded telecommunication systems used in military and public services, such as: - IFF (Interrogation of Friend or Foe) - Milgem (National Ship) - IPv6 Domestic Router (Please see the Experience section for further details)My main area of expertise are: - Protocols (Mainly LTE stack, but I have also worked on IP protocols in the past)- Designing in embedded systems - Embedded programming in C language- Programming on RTOS systems- Programming on SoC (ARM, DSP) - Driver programming - Software Optimization- Specifications (3GPP), RFCs, MIL-STD documents - Last but not least: Clean coding I am a hard-working person and I am always eager to learn new technologies. My favourite technical books (and which I own) are Mythical Man-Month, The Pragmatic Programmer, Code Complete, Silberschatz's Operating System Concepts, Introduction to Algorithms.My current primary hobbies are retro computers / consoles and games, Warhammer 40K, and mainly computer RPGs.
