Having 18+ yrs. of experience in leading and mentoring Machine Learning, Anomaly Detection, Data Mining, Predictive Analytics, Reliability/Survival Analysis and Safety Assessment programs for industrial systems and processes utilizing machine operation & maintenance data, part/system failure & degradation data, inspection data, outage planning data etc. which helped in reducing unplanned outages, better planning of scheduled outages, evaluating asset performance and benchmarking, improving residual life of equipments & reducing life cycle cost of systems for the customers.Some notable program I worked on:Developed machine learning models which helped in recommending a set of parts and service that had high probability to be bought by the customer resulted in $18M of sales per year.Developed web apps using Dash hosted on Dataiku platform which helped in evaluating long term generator degradation / anomaly and helped in recommending right set parts for replacement during outages resulted in $10M of sales per year.Developed anomaly detection algorithms to detect anomaly like vibration, high bearing metal temp, nozzle oxidation etc. in GT and ST which helped in detecting potential failures in advance and hence improving the reliability and availability of the system.Worked with multiple customer for implementing Asset Performance Management (APM) solutions in various power plant and other industrial systems utilizing similarity based modelling (SBM) techniques for early system/equipment fault detection and recommending corrective action.Implemented CBM/PHM strategy for asset life optimization of various combined cycle power plant equipment which saved parts and maintenance cost. Performed Reliability Prediction using fielded system data and /or external databases such as NERC, OREDA, ORAP, MIL HDBK 217, NSWC, Telcordia etc. and using wide range of technique such as Weibull modeling, GLL, NHPP, RGA etc.Developed Systems Reliability Models using RBD/ FTA / Markov Techniques of complex mechanical, electromechanical and electronics systems for reliability/ availability estimation.Software Skills: Python, MATLAB, JMP, Weibull++, RGA, ALTA, Blocksim, Minitab, Crystal Ball, MS Office, Tableau, Dataiku
