Conduct research on affordable housing policies, update existing guidelines related to the City of Ottawa's affordable housing initiatives, and participate in the management of affordable housing projects and programs.

Providing business and project management services by undertaking complex departmental or branch projects assigned to the Business Support Services (BSS), including defining project scope, preparing project documentation, and leading project teams. The interdepartmental clients include planning, transportation, real estate, and economic development.

StudentMoveTO is a collaborative partnership to generate insights, debates, and actions to improve the transportation experiences of post-secondary students in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). As a project manager, my responsibilities included conducting preliminary data analysis for transit users based on the studentmoveto 2019 data set. It included profiling and analysis of characteristics. In addition, manage and update the studentmoveto website and coordinate with university and college partners in the GTA.

The primary focus of my research at KAPSARC is to assess the impact of various public transit projects, strategies and policies like Metro System, Transit Oriented Development (TOD) on energy consumption. It includes developing statistical and spatial energy models to capture the effect of mode shift, high density development, transit availability and several other transit planning strategies on energy savings at a city and regional level.

Providing consultancy services for planning and design of Bike Share System and Active Transportation Infrastructure (Walking, Cycling and Public Transit accessibility).

My primary career interest is developing expertise in financial feasibility and economic viability of urban transport, especially active transportation projects. As Head, Innovations at Innovative Transport Solutions (iTrans), an urban transport consultancy company focusing on applied research and implementation of sustainable urban transport projects, I am working on the challenge of making sustainable transport projects financially viable. Monitoring and evaluation of Urban Reforms under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JnNURM) and Hand holing support to states and cities for achievement of Reforms. Regular support to Ministry officials regarding matters of Urban reforms in various states and cities in India.

Coordination and Implementation the urban development activities under Support Programme for Urban Reforms in Bihar (SPUR), assisted and Funded by DFID.

Designing of Layout, Demarcation, Zoning Plans as part of larger Town Planning exercise along with keeping close eye on effect of theses designs on Real Estate Financing.
