Key Responsibilities: • Responsible for enhancement of the BCBSRI Membership ,finance and provider applications. This included requirement analysis mentioned in the SRS (system requirement document) created by BA(business analyst) for the enhancement known as RSS.(Request for system services). The job also included mapping the requirement to the code/database level. • Responsible for the reviews of the SRS created by the BA(Business analyst)• Responsible for the estimation of the requirements.• Responsible for the reviews for coding /unit testing/System testing/Regression Testing. • Monitoring and tracking of RSS till the closure of the RSS. • Planning and resource allocation for the assigned RSS. • Making sure that the time spent on each RSS is filled in properly by each team member in timesheet tracking tool. Ensuring that the RSS is completed well within the budget.• Responsible for the overall quality of work delivered by my team, ensuring the team is following the quality processes as per the standards.• Conducting various presentations on a regular basis for the new enhancements undertaken by my team. This ensured that the knowledge gained while carrying out those enhancements is shared across the entire account. • Carrying out regular maintenance of BCBSRI membership and Finance applications. This includes fixing of reported Incident tickets in membership area. • Carrying out enhancements of the BCBSRI membership applications. This included requirement gathering for enhancements (known as "Request for System Services - RSS) .The job included client interaction, requirement gathering, estimation , coding , testing and reviews at various levels• Involved in Knowledge acquisition for various membership modules. This included system study, architecture analysis and documentation of the system.
