The Yanbu Phase 3 Seawater Desalination Plant is located in the Yanbu Industrial City. The desalination plant will implement multistage flash (MSF) technology to desalinate and supply freshwater to the residents of Yanbu and the nearby Medina region. Saudi's state-owned Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) awarded engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to a consortium including Al-Toukhi Company, Shanghai Electric and Samsung Engineering for construction of the Yanbu Power and Desalination Plant Phase 3 project.G.P.ZACHARIADES Scope in this project is to build the civil structures the following belowSteam Turbine Generator- 5units,Boiler- 5units,IDfan foundation – 3 units, Absorber-5units,Pumpstations,piperacks, ESP-5 units, fly Ash Silo foundations-5units, Setup transformers& Auxiliarytransformers-5units,Boxculverts,380kvcablerouting&cabletrenches,Ductbanks,Demi tanks, FGD pump pits & foundations.Key Roles & Responsibilities• Technical, organizational and supervisory role• Liaising with the clients architects, engineers, construction managers, supervisors, Planners, surveyors, including attending regular liaison weekly meetings• Liaising and coordinating subcontractors activities• Acting as the technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and Operatives• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site laborForce and the work of subcontractors• Planning the work and efficiently organizing the site facilities• Preparing reports as required• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties,and othersMain role is getting approval from client for all structure bar bending schedules, monitoring bar bending schedulers update the bar bending schedule due to any variations according to IFC drawings. Monitoring the steel fabrication yard & metal work shop. Prepare and submit every Two weeks reconciliation of rebar’s to the client. And site works of transformer structures.
