As an assistant manager at Vedanta Limited, I apply my metallurgy and smelting skills to oversee the production and quality of aluminium products. Over the past four years, I have had the privilege of working in the smelter industry, where I have continually advanced my career by taking up roles such as Shift In-charge and Technical In-charge. My experiences have provided me with a deep understanding of the operational intricacies involved in managing a successful smelter facility.During my tenure, I have been actively involved in implementing and optimizing various processes, resulting in improved productivity and operational efficiency. My proficiency in managing critical process parameters has played a pivotal role in ensuring consistent output quality while adhering to safety guidelines.Additionally, I have taken on the role of a Digital Champion, where I have been instrumental in leading digital initiatives to transform traditional operational activities through innovative technologies. My passion for digitalization and expertise in leveraging new tools have enabled me to drive digital strategies, leading to increased automation, streamlined workflows, and data-driven decision-making within the organization. I hold a B.Tech degree in metallurgy and material engineering from NIFFT, where I was also the placement coordinator for the industrial liaison cell, facilitating the recruitment and placement of students. I have more than four years of work experience in the metal industry, including internships at Tata Steel and Sail, where I worked on projects related to sinter productivity and poster presentation. I am passionate about metallurgy and its applications, and I strive to contribute to the innovation and sustainability of the metal sector.
