Business continuity during disruption days in the North East region is something which had led lots of exploration of new routes, alternate multimode of transportation and setting up the new warehouse model.

Lucknow

Was looking after the secondary distribution, transportation and warehousing for eastern UP, Bihar and MP. Had done a big cost project which was carved around putting a right warehouse model based on the classification of the product portfolio. Setting up a new warehouse by splitting the current facility into two had helped us fix up the service issue. Had driven the warehouse safety, quality and statutory compliances across the region. Right cost to serve basis taking the action around secondary distribution freight cost was something which had been driven by me at regional level.

Delhi, India

In Delhi which was a central warehouse for storing spare parts was a hybrid model storage facility. As a store manager, my responsibilities were to ensure that the right amount of spare/fg is available to cater the demand of rest of the spokes mapped with it.Reverse logistics on OEM was also mapped with my role which was the most challenging part of my profile. Checking the warranty and out of warranty while service call closure was pivotal during sending back the parts to original equipment manufacturers.Seamless stock management and managing the service level >90% was something which was kept on top priority. Inventory hygiene and servicing at the right cost to customers was the key deliverables.

Chennai And Gurgaon

Was looking after the upcountry distribution from Chennai warehouse and later on moved to Gurgoan with the bigger profile of inbound and outbound operations.
