I am a communication professional who has branched out into content creation, Knowledge Management and communications. My approach to designing communications strategies is rooted in my training as a journalist and combines engaging storytelling with sharp, impactful brand messaging.I am adept at conducting research and creating compelling content and communications plans. Having worked as a journalist in international newsrooms, I am also acutely aware of the politics of social media messaging and the need for businesses to use it in the most meaningful and responsible manner.As a reporter, I have written and produced content extensively on Social issues and rural development, women empowerment etc .At present, I am heading the communication and Knowledge Management team of JSLPS, a govt agency under Rural development department , Govt of Jharkhand. I am based in Ranchi, Jharkhand at the moment but open to relocating and taking on remote consulting opportunities.I was the Special program producer at Zee news Ltd, Noida from 2010 to 2013, where I conceptualised and managed the prime-time news bulletin as well special programs, Zee’s programming aimed at expanding viewership through good content development and unique ideation.Prior to Zee news, I worked at News 24 —I was the Assistant Producer cum reporter there and was part of the team that laid the news channel of Bag Films Ltd. At News 24, I was primarily responsible for reporting based on special programs and scripting of special programs. I also created enterprise content that was meaningful and engaging and would boost footprints on the site from social media channels.My experience as a Development communication expert, journalist and media professional has given me a key sense of how to work in the field of PR, Media, and Communication. I have 360-degree experience in all verticals like print, electronic and others. I have rigorously worked for build value-driven online brands, make meaningful connections with users, and inspire change. Over the years, I have built a wide network of connections with journalists, writers, academics, analysts, development professionals, researchers across industries. I have also established professional relationships with government agencies and privately-owned grassroots development agencies and policy think tanks.
