About Raj Sundar

I had an arranged marriage with healthcare, destined to be a doctor from day one. Then, I faced the reality of what it meant to be in healthcare: limited access to quality primary care, escalating healthcare costs, persistent health disparities., and the list goes on and on.While being a doctor laid my foundation, it became evident that it wouldn't be my final destination.Dissatisfaction with the status quo fueled my journey of relentless skill improvement, aiming for a tangible impact on healthcare. My mission is simple: to humanize healthcare, lead organizations in prioritizing people, and foster compassionate healing. Here's who I am:▶ A compassionate changemaker committed to enhancing processes and creatively tackling seemingly insurmountable problems.▶ An authentic leader who centers equity for both healthcare employees and patients.▶ An inclusive community organizer, embracing the responsibility of enabling others to achieve shared purposes in the face of uncertainty.▶ A direct communicator who inspires and instills hope.▶ A doctor who focuses on healing patients through curing illness and caring generously Here's what that has meant so far: ✔As a Medical Director, I managed the operations of an integrated health system, ensuring equitable care for over 60,000 patients. ✔ As a community organizer, I built a network of 500 change agents using community organizing principles. It was more than a feat—a strategic move to drive impactful change and further health equity, a testament to my commitment to inclusivity.✔As a family physician, providing full-spectrum care, from obstetrics and newborn care to geriatric care ✔ Creating a podcast that ranks in the top 10% worldwide and focuses on educating clinicians on providing culturally responsive careHere's my invitation: I want your collaboration, insights, and help to transform healthcare into what it was always meant to be—a system genuinely prioritizing the well-being of all individuals.Let's Humanize Healthcare.
