 Design & develop Cauldron software, Shell in-house tool used by basin modelers for petroleum exploration.  Support basin modelers to use petroleum exploration applications.  Technical lead for Cauldron back-end team.  Active participation in Program Increment planning, scrum meetings, sprint review meetings, retrospective meetings, release plan meeting and scrum of scrum meetings. Ensure risks, issues are identified and have mitigation plans and that all contingencies needed are agreed with the stakeholders. Prepare project plan, time estimation, effort and schedule. Manage and drive team to deliver sprint goals with quality and time adhering to the quality processes. Ensure that all work done by the team conforms to acceptance criteria for the user stories. Closely work with High Performance Computing team to build and execute software in clusters like skylake, cascade lake, tungsten, etc. Handling job submission scripts to launch the cases from development/production environment. Developed a user interface using Qt in Linux to generate oceanic/continental crustal thickness maps. Interact with R&D team (scientists) to implement the advanced models in Cauldron software. Creating/maintaining scripts (shell/Python/Perl) either to incorporate the new models in to the domain, or to accommodate the recent software upgrades. Upgrading Cauldron software with recent version of third-party libraries like PetSc, Hyper, Boost, etc.  Worked closely with cross functional teams like front-end, middle-tier, etc to integrate different applications. Effectively used both Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavioural Driven Development (BDD) approaches in SDLC to achieve necessary behaviour changes in order to maximise benifits. Integrated other applications in a common platform which is cost effective, least maintenance and reduce dependencies from the third-party vendors.  Familiar with Agile tools like DevOps and VSTS.

 Design & develop a tool (console application) to pre-process and post process the data to run the Delphi solver using C#.Net. Using OpenMP, structural solver has been parallelized. Developing new features and bug fixing in PADRAM mesh generation tool, Rolls-Royce in-house tool. Technical reviewer - mainly involves task estimation and maintaining the quality of deliverables. Suggest alternative solutions and point out deficiencies related to quality requirements to Program Manager / Customer when necessary. Act as a single point of contact for the projects handled. Facilitate smooth execution of projects by effectively communicating, follow-up with customer and Project team. Establish and maintain good working relationship with customer, supplier and other stakeholders. Worked on preparing Project Proposals with business team and presented the proposals in front of the customer. Used IBM clusters to run extensive simulations which carried out structural analysis.
