I joined Auditor General's department of Sri Lanka, as an Audit Examiner in 1986 at the same time which I was following the Undergrduate Degee at University of Sri Jayawardenepura and after the graduation i.e in 1992, I had been appointed as the Lecturer, Department of Commerce and management of the University of Colombo as a Lecturer in Accountancy. After 9 years Academic Experince in 2002, I joined to the Faculty of Management Studies and Finance, Wayamba University of Sri lanka as a Senior Lecturer. In addition to the Lecturing Role, I played as a Senior Student Councellor, Senior Treasurer, Head of the Department of Accountancy, Head of the Research and Counsultancy Group of the department of Accountancy as well. In the mean time I serviced as the Advisor to the National Institute of Education to prepare the Advanced Level Teachers Guide - Accountancy and as a teacher trainer.
