During his tenure, the team grew revenue from $2 million to $109 million, a testament to his ability to blend creative vision with sharp execution to drive business results.This same drive led him to leave the corporate world to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams, co-founding ventures like CRMBZ, Serendipity, and GetTexty. Each step taught him invaluable lessons about resilience, adaptability, and the essence of what makes companies thrive.More recently, at Lucid and later Cint, Kumar transformed the company’s marketing function and left a profound legacy. Kumar built a marketing organization from a modest team of five to a global powerhouse of 30+; increasing capabilities in Product Marketing, Demand Generation, PR, and Social Media.Under Kumar’s leadership, the team generated incremental revenue from marketing, increased brand awareness and preference, and built a new revenue stream. He also spearheaded the creation of the ResTech category. These achievements played a pivotal role in positioning Lucid for a $1.1 billion acquisition, establishing it as New Orleans’ first unicorn. Beyond the numbers, Kumar’s investment in people elevated their skills and careers, embodying his commitment to fostering growth in individuals and organizations alike.Today, Kumar’s unique blend of big-company expertise and entrepreneurial grit gives him a rare perspective.
