Scaled the organization and processes to support a much larger customer base. Completed OEM relationships with Dell (which was underway at Kaviza) and Fujitsu as well as relationships with HP and several other vendors. 10X+ growth in business.

Co-founded and ran Kaviza, built a world-class team with global channel and sales coverage and grew the business with sales doubling quarter over quarter, and OEM with Dell – leading to an acquisition by Citrix.Kaviza is the pioneer and leader of simple, affordable desktop virtualization. Kaviza fundamentally changed the virtual desktop landscape with VDI-in-a-Box, a converged, scalable solution that eliminated the need for shared storage and 2/3rd of the infrastructure used by traditional virtual desktop solutions. It can be setup in hours and costs less than PCs. Though designed for small and medium businesses, the simplicity of the solution made it attractive to large enterprises as well. Kaviza VDI-in-a-Box won over 11 key industry awards including the “Best of VMworld 2010” in Desktop Virtualization, “Best of Synergy 2010” for Business Efficiency, “Cool Vendor in Client Computing 2010” by Gartner, “Product to Watch 2010” by eWeek, and the “Innovation Award 2010” by Network Products Guide. VDI expert Brian Madden called it the “Kleenex of simple VDI”.

Managed a laboratory focused on clouds, software as a service and large scale data analysis. The cloud effort consisted of developing a generic platform to provide software applications as a service. The data analysis effort focused on determining trends and anomalies from large data sets for use in a variety of applications. Worked closely with business units and customers to pilot and develop these next generation solutions. Represented HP Lab's automation portfolio to the press, customers and partners and manage initiatives with customers in the financial services sector.

Co-founded and managed Kovair, a SaaS CRM company, from inception. Grew, directed and managed product management, engineering, 24/7 operations and finance. Developed technical partnerships and worked closely with the sales team to close key accounts. Helped to raise over $21M in venture funds and sell the SaaS service to fortune 1000 companies across the globe.
