A tech enthusiast with a strong background in Additive Manufacturing, I enjoy solving challenging manufacturing problems. With over 9 years of experience in the Additive Manufacturing industry, I have built two companies in the 3D Printing domain from the ground up. My journey began with hardware and later transitioned to software development. I am passionate about creating world-class products from India for the world.In 2015, right after graduating as a Mechanical Engineer from BITS Pilani, I started my first company, 3Dware. I played a crucial role in building India's first desktop top-down DLP 3D Printer and formulated proprietary materials at 3Dware.In 2022, I co-founded my second startup, MIRA3D, with the goal of making reliable and easy-to-use Build Preparation Software for Additive Manufacturing. We initially focused on developing and selling software specialized for the jewellery market, featuring robust mesh repair, Boolean, and editing tools. We then developed a one-of-a-kind support technology called OPF (Optimized Path Finding Supports), which reduced post-processing time by 50% and support weight by over 70% compared to conventional block supports.Recently, MIRA3D made its entry into the 3D Inspection and Metrology domain with our MIRAanalyze software. MIRAanalyze uses a proprietary Scan to CAD matching algorithm, and its surface separation algorithm enables users to make key dimensional measurements in the scanned file itself without needing any CAD data, an industry first!
