Areas of Work Test and certification of Motor controller unit, Monoblock & Submersible pumps. Planning for test schedule, manage logistics and ensure proper resource facility at test lab. Witnessed the Solar Water pumps controller IP (54) & 65 testing as per IEC60529 at third party lab (SI’TARC, ERDA). Witnessed the Solar water pump controller efficiency testing as per IEC 61683. Conducted various tests as per standards such as protection test for Controllers, open circuit, short circuit, reverse polarity, dry run and cold / hot profiles tests. In-house testing of solar pumps as per MNRE Specifications & preparing in-house reports. Filling up the lab order forms (testing request forms) & scheduling the testing as per slot availability in the testing labs (CPRI, ERDA, SI’TARC, UL, TUV). Witnessed the Solar Water pumps testing as per MNRE Specifications at third party labs(CPRI, ERDA, SI’TARC, UL, TUV). Installed and maintained the Test Setups – for Submersible, Surface Pumps and Efficiency Tests. Programing the AC & DC Drives which are used for solar pumps.

Areas of Work Associated with Test Engineer in conductingShort circuit tests on transformers and Short time current test on bus ducts, LT and HT panels, current transformer, line trap and circuit breakers.  Short circuit test duties (T10, T30, T60, T100a, T100s, single phase and out of Phase test) on 12 kV and 36 kV breakers and Internal arc test on switchgear equipment. Performing Short circuit tests on transformer ,Circuit breaker.  According to IEC/IS standards.Conducting routine tests such as measurement of winding resistance, insulation resistance, measurement of voltage ratio, measurement of No load loss and current, measurement of short circuit impedance and load loss, measurement of separate source AC withstand voltage test, induced over voltage test on transformer, conducting routine tests on circuit breakers such as contact resistance measurement test under the supervision of Test Engineer. Short Circuit current calculation for Transformer test. Assisted in testing works like Preparation of Oscillograms, measurement of test currents, Voltages, TRV, Arcing time etc. during Circuit breaker test and Assisted in Drawing verification. Participated during operation of 2500 MVA Short Circuit Generator and its Auxiliaries. Preparation of Preliminary and final test reports.
