    I worked at Aalto University during my master thesis project on work entitled "Study of strong coupling between silver nanoantennas and CdSe/ZnS quantum dots. In this work, silver nanoantennas arrays of diameter 60nm and a separation varying from 300nm to 500nm were fabricated by electron beam lithography and the transmission spectra were studied for each sample using Kretschmann configuration. The silver nanoantennas were then studied by varying the diameter of the circular disc and keeping the the separation between them constant. The result was then verified with FDTD simulation. In the second part of this project, the silver nanoantennas arrays were coated with CdSe/ZnS quantum dots and the coupling between surface plasmon polaritons and the quantum dots were studied.
