My primary role is to lead and implement complex and standard engineering solutions, to successful completion within budgeted time & cost constraints, achieving required quality. In addition, I support the implementation of projects in line with Honeywell’s Project & Automation Solutions (PAS) business objectives, including continuous improvement of margin, customer satisfaction, schedule, working capital and safety performance.My job scope and responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following, • Ensure that required prerequisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, and budget) are in place prior to commencing work.• Produce part(s) of Functional-Design-Specifications (FDS) under supervision.• Produce parts(s) of Detailed-Design-Specifications (DDS).• Execute work assignment to appropriate standards and quality systems (Implementation, Testing & Documentation).• Coach and support assigned Engineer(s) to ensure they are able to meet the requirements of their work.• Monitor and control assigned work scope against the project plan.• Effectively communicate with Customers to fully define and agree project requirements.• Proactively recommend potential quality and efficiency improvements within the engineering group.• Share technical knowledge with Project-Team, Supervisor, own discipline and other engineering disciplines.Report progress and technical problems and/or changes to Project Lead-Engineer or Principal-Engineer.
