Key areas of focus included financial and HR systems and processes, inventory management, commercial and management reporting, and third party logistics (distribution and order to cash). • Built IT business support model and delivery capability for finance, Human resources and supply chain functions. Also established documentation standards, monthly/quarterly release methodology for all of Oracle functional and technical enhancements.• Managed post-merger IT integration of Optimer Pharmaceuticals business applications into Cubist systems.• Lead a team that successfully upgraded Oracle EBS system from version 11.5.3 to r12.1.3. Also designed and implemented multiple partner integration and extensions in Oracle applications to meet Biogen Idec’s business requirements.• Designed and implemented integration between Biogen and its logistics partner and affiliates in Europe. The integration automated end-to-end supply chain transactions, and allowed for robust reporting and error handling. Due to its scalable design, the integration was later extended for logistics partner in Latin America region as well.• Headed a technical team that migrated IDEC Pharmaceutical’s financials, HR and supply chain data into Biogen’s Oracle 11i E-Business suite upon merger.
