PROJECT: Cultivation of Chlorella Sorokiniana, Phytochemical Analysis, and Exploration of Algal Biomass for Natural Food Colorant Extraction.1. Explored the cultivation of Chlorella sorokiniana in photobioreactors and investigated the various factors influencing algal growth under different conditions, including the formulation of growth media, light exposure, and temperature variations.2. Quantitative analyses to determine the protein, antioxidant levels, carbohydrate content, pigments, and lipid composition in the harvested algal biomass.3. Experimental procedures were implemented to extract colorants from the algal biomass, with a particular emphasis on their suitability for use as food colorants.

PROJECT: Chocolate Waste Mapping, Factors, and Mitigation1. Conducted material balance calculations for the entire shell-line area within the plant. Analyzed data sourced from the control panel and record books, applying the Kaizen approach to address identified problem statements.2. Employed a fishbone diagram to analyze root causes and executed calculations to quantify various forms of losses pertaining to chocolate waste.3. Formulated a comprehensive set of solutions to mitigate and reduce chocolate waste, contributing to enhanced operational efficiency and waste reduction strategies.
