Overview:• Contributed to testing platform that provisions test environments, which serves as a part of company-• level release pipeline, and enables global PayPal developers to test their applications in an environment that simulates PayPal live(prod) env.• Created CLI commands, Designed and Implemented RestFul APIs of Micro Services which manages test environments in Go.Projects:Implementing SignalFX Tracing System:• Led(Grooming, Tasking, Ownership) stories on our prod, that as a part of company level update, workflows across multiple platforms and applications should share the same trace ID and publish spans to SignalFX for developers to track easily. Testenv Efficiency Improvement Project:• Designed a solution that can obtain data of idle containers in the staging infrastructure, extracting traffic data using the Google's VPC logs. Testenv GEO Enablement:• Provided support to comply with legal and data regulations of APAC countries and keep user sensitive data within it’s own country, by using bridge-island architecture that can provide full bi-directional routing support on both sides of the bridge.Application Live Manifest(Version) Support:• Participated in creating a new server that will poll newest available version from TurboRoller, CMPaaS APIs at a periodic interval and cache them in Google datastore.Database auto provision for root environment:• Designed and developed a service and an Argo workflow engine to provision databases and attach it to containers.

• Built new website of Linguistics Department as part of Rice University website update project. • Redesigned the website under the new Rice University website theme, selected and rearranged old contents as well as created new contents. Contents and layouts are managed by content-management framework, Drupal.• Modified website appearance to fit new theme by rewriting and altering HTML5/CSS.

• Using Talend to ETL digital stored data of Rice University from 4 different sources, such as SQL Server, Qualtrex, to Data warehouse. • Redesigned data models for new business requirement and then migrated data into multiple Oracle DB. MySQL DB was used as test before Oracle DB. Wrong data cleaning and store procedure optimization have also been accomplished to increase performance.• With above operations, tables were reduced to 20% - 50% and vacant fields are filled up to 50%.
