I recently obtained my Honors Bachelor of Science in Astronomy (Specialist), Physics (Major), and Mathematics (Minor) from the University of Toronto.I have gained both lab and theoretical expertise and enjoy working independently and as part of a team. For my undergraduate thesis, I determined the dark matter capture rate by neutron stars through modeling the structure of neutron stars with and without dark matter. My current research focuses on strongly lensed galaxies in the FIRE (Feedback in Realistic Environments) cosmological simulations at the Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics.In addition to my research, I am a Teaching Assistant for both first-year and upper-year mathematics and astronomy courses, and since September 2022, I have been tutoring high school Physics and Mathematics at Miss Math Tutoring. I instruct over 60 students across diverse high school curriculums, maintaining meticulous progress reports and fostering open communication with parents to ensure optimal student learning.Previously, I was the student leader at the University of Toronto Mississauga Residence (2019–2022), where I assisted over 300 students in transitioning academically to university.My skills and expertise lie in teaching, Python, Java, SQL, LaTeX, MS Office Suite, MATLAB, student leadership, and event management.
