My role involved managing all engineering/ maintenance operations, including, maintaining the building, grounds and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection. Accountable for managing the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance and energy conservation. Responsible for maintaining regulatory requirements. Leading the emergency response team for all facility issues. I have also done the Pre-opening of the property in 2016 & 2018 after natural disaster damages

My role as the Assistant Chief Engineer involved assisting the Chief Engineer in managing budget, CAPEX, Preventative maintenance and energy conservation. Assign, track and follow up on status of work assigned to staff and contractors. Help to increase guest and employee satisfaction through effective communications and trainings. I was responsible for troubleshooting issues on all property machines and equipment. I was actively involved in elevator maintenance, generator repair and service, HVAC maintenance, Storm water pump installation and maintenance, swimming pool conversion from freshwater to saltwater and installation and commissioning of salt water chlorinators, Solar water heater plumbing and problem rectification, sewer line plumbing and construction of additional septic tanks, Building constructions, and repair and maintenance of other expensive assets of the hotel. I was also involved in testing all machines and equipment and filling in the required checklists.

My role as an Electronic Technician involved inspecting mobile phones and performing tests on the devices to locate the problem and fixing it with the brand matching parts. I was also part of the team which was involved in the installation of speed limit cameras around the country.My core work activities involved:• Repair and maintenance of mobile phones and electronic gadgets• Replacing micro electronic parts on mobile phone PCB• Replacing hardware of mobile phones• Installing/updating OS on mobile phones

My role as a Lab Demonstrator involved demonstrating practical works for in Engineering in areas like Embedded Systems, Digital Logic Design, and some Mechanical courses to a class of 25-30 undergraduates for 1 semester.My core work activities involved:• Demonstrating Lab exercise (Hardware and Software)• Marking Lab reports and short test papers • Submitting scores on the MOODLE web page for the students• Running remedial Lab Exercises for students who had missed their Lab work towards the end of the course

I obtained my practical knowledge hands on at Eutron Electrical Services where I worked with a team of 4 qualified Electrical technicians who did various Electrical projects all around Nadi and Namaka area. Majority of the projects taken up by this company was Home and Commercial Building Electrical wiring, giving Electrical Certification, and fault finding and rectification.
