Roles and Responsibilities : Designed and implemented algorithms for a Computer Visionbased solution to detect occurrence of fire and smoke in a video surveillance. Used image andvideo processing techniques using OpenCV libraries in C++. Shifted towards Deep Learning fora more accurate and efficient image recognition and classification.Outcomes : Got acceptable results with 85% accuracy on random videos from surveillancecontaining fire/smoke. Was given a PPO(Pre-Placement Offer) after completion of internship.
