• InsureX migration: Migration of policies from InsureX system to LIS. Around twenty thousand policies have been migrated under this, and I worked on handling death claim, re-calculating the claim amount and notification letter generation in PDF form for holder.• Also worked on removing unnecessary data from the database and creating account events and calculatory events for the claims.• Worked on a very complex module of Claim process. Created a batch to read an input file named TITO (file which is transaction summary) and updates the LIS database likewise.• Created report to display paid and failed claim payments by compensation type. HTML and PDF format were used for this purpose.• Corrected the status and modes getting displayed on basic screen of policy which comes from a custom rule engine.• Created complex SqlXML query to fetch records from database which does not have account no. before policy maturation and use it to display in report. This included joining around ten tables to fetch the correct record.• New report was created in PDF and HTML format to display the records in xml from database.• Fixing of defect raised in testing environment along with identifying environmental issues on testing servers during testing.

• Developed complex UI layout for searching and fetching master seat map of the flights. UI was developed in Swing.• Integration of UI with the java web service for fetching the active seat map and also integration of one service with another for fetching data from Customer Journey.• Developed the UI for active seat map, worked on complex seat map, added features to change seat status and seat characteristics, selection / deselection of seats.• Mapping of seat's derived status from its primary and secondary status using JEXL.• Creation of spring web service from scratch which includes creating DTO, JiBX mapping, end point creation, implementation, custom exception handling and unit testing with JUnit.• Cashing of huge data from server using Ehcache to increase the performance.• Modification of existing stored procedures by removing / adding the parameters, changing the implementation, adding extra checks for flight status and testing them.• Defect fixing related to service parameter changes, performance issues, implementation/logic and layout mismatch.• Maintaining coding standard using tool named Sonar to inspect and indentify the code style, potential bugs and code coverage. Klocwork was used to analyze the code and indentify quality and security issues.

• Developed the Hold Notice Implementation Module from UI to database hit using Java, J2EE, JSP, JavaScript and JSF (backing bean and configuration file). • Worked on enhancements using GWT. Made changes in the existing GWT pages to incorporate certain features. • Made various other enhancements ranging from the UI to Functionality changes. • Worked on JUnit to test the business logic for normal CRUD operations. • Worked on bugs regarding irregular data fetching, UI changes and mailing issues. • Developed the Documents for a proper handover of Project to IBM.
