Looking after the safety function of Jharia Group of Mines and Wash Plants. Implementing the Safety Strategies covering the Aspects of leadership development, Competency development, Contractor safety, Rail and road safety apart from others. Focus on capturing the lead indicators and doing a thorough incident analysis through Root Cause and Risk Thinking methodology. Interaction with DGMS and other governmental organisations being done regularly. Also involved in preparation of Emergency Preparedness and disaster management plans.

Working as Head (Sijua Colliery) in the underground coalmines at Jharia Division of Tata Steel Limited at Dhanbad. Responsible for total operation (production planning, manpower management, and safety) of Sijua Colliery with improvement activities. Also have a vast experience of working in Opencast coalmines at West Bokaro Division of Tata Steel Limited near Ranchi. Responsible for Production planning of the mine as well as entire opencast mines of the division. Hands on experience of working on MINEX software and conceptualization of Highwall Mining at West Bokaro. Was responsible for driving improvement activities (Daily Management, DMAIC Projects, TPM, etc.)

Formulating & implementing Annual Business Plan (ABP) and Advance Plan of 5 years.Demonstrated excellence in managing complete operations including mine planning: reserve estimation, mine designing, pit optimisation and slope stability study for Open Pit Project.Developed & implemented a Cost Model for Opencast Mines used for assessing cost for Kalimela Opencast Mine.

Managed complete planning of 3 mines with annual OB removal of about 250 Lakhs cu.m. and annual production of 6.0 MT raw Coal.
