Kunal is a Banking & Finance business leader with over 20+ years of experience in areas as diverse as Treasury management, Accounts, Finance, Tax, M&A, Corporate finance, Portfolio management, Business strategy, Sales, Compliance & Risk management. Kunal in his last role before being part of founding team at TruBoard Partners, was Senior Vice President, Group Finance with Piramal Enterprises with primary role of overseeing Finance & Strategic initiatives for entire spectrum of financial services business covering wholesale, retail & fund management. Prior to his elevation, Kunal was the Deputy CFO of financial services business at the Piramal Group. At the Piramal Group he also served as founding CFO of Piramal Housing Finance. In his long & illustrious career spanning India & Singapore he has worked with esteem groups like Piramal, Shriram, Standard Chartered, Quattro & E&Y. During his term at Quattro, he gained rich experience as an advisor to international banks, PEs in US, Japan, South East Asia, India and worked on M&A deals in excess of US$ 4 Bn. He has worked in diverse financial services functions managing complex projects. A recipient of multiple performance excellence awards he prides on his strength of working in unstructured environments and leading diverse cross-functional groups. His areas of interest includes new product designs, deal structuring, valuations, and optimization of capital efficiency project. Kunal is a Chartered Accountant and an M.Com from University of Mumbai. He has also received a Post Graduate degree in comparative philosophies, religion and culture from Tatvajnana Vidyapeeth, Mumbai.
