Growing up I was an average kid, sincere, dedicated & a clear sensibility towards the arts. Amazing parents & influences around who inspired me to be like them & very much unlike them too. Before I hit 21yrs I found myself knee deep in the world of Manufacturing having no exposure at all - producing Embroidery on expensive Swiss machines for the best names in the industry. Fought a world of deep debt & failure, and desperation to survive only to find my calling further into Design. Interior Furnishings Fabrics, Interior lifestyle furniture & Décor products. From supplying regional showrooms, we grew Brand KANCHI into being an Industry known name having presence in High-street showrooms in every A, B or C city in India. We were once the only Indian Brand that had its presence in the International market in our sphere participating in luxury trade fairs in Italy, France, England, The Middle East, the US, Singapore etc.Steadily from a technocrat to a designer & curator Home Décor - my work was being sought after by furnishing giants, Hospitality majors & Italian furniture brands. We evolved our firm to take on projects for furnishing Homes, boutique & large Hotels, Restaurants, Airports etc. Learning constantly & adding new product lines is a passion. We started with Furnishing Textiles & trims, then added custom furniture, bespoke lights, handmade Carpets & even handmade wallpaper to our product lines. Today we help design & consult on interior design, work with turnkey projects for residential Homes, Hotels & other luxury spaces too.I learnt from the Europeans that high-quality & ‘high-design’ sells anytime - but it must be on time! I strongly believe in the power of service because that’s the only thing the customer remembers in the end (one thing I learnt from the Americans). Even today I still love that we are identified more as a Design firm, than a larger Interior product & services company.
