• Study the customer requirements of the HV and LV connectors for electric climatic compressors and electrical vehicles (drive motors) such as Power, voltage, current, ingress protections, EMC levels and vibrations etc. • Design and development of HV and LV connectors as per customer specifications for different voltage classes. Connector terminal design, terminal coatings selection, insulator design, selection of wire size and harness components.• Design the connector to PCB interfaces such as DC connections, and motor phases to PCB connections• Mechanical design support for installing the capacitors and common mode chokes for EMC noise reduction.• Identifying the opportunities for simulation requirements for design validation.• Performing insulation analysis and creepage validation for high voltage class products. Nextra ISO Mechatronics check. (3D Creepage and Air gap analysis)Development of connectors through idea generation-concept development-project planning-product development-test qualifications (Electrical, mechanical and environmental)-product release stages.• Proto development 3D printing soft tooling components.• Managing Design Reviews/Validation documents with suppliers and cross functional team.
