Technology Strategist with 15 years of R&D experience at the leading telecom company in Japan and 7 years of digital transformation consulting at a global tech company and a top consulting firm.After receiving Ph.D. (Engineering) in Computer Vision/Graphics, for 15 years (including 10-year management experience) in R&D, experienced whole services/product life cycles such as designing the image synthesis/encoding algorithm from scratch, developing and launching of interactive video distribution service aligned with the company’s broadband strategy, DevOps of mission critical consumer-facing service delivery for 1 million FTTH users, and deployment of the natural language understanding solution of the contact center for intelligent analysis of customer insights.Then studied MBA course in the top business school in UK with students from 71 countries. To maximize the learning, joined a global tech company, then scaled out its global platform to consumer facing environments in Japan. On the launch of AI assistant (Alexa), designed and architected over 50 extended use cases (called skills) with Japanese top-tier companies, one of which became the globally most popular skill. After moved to cloud computing division, designed numbers of industry-focused solutions leveraging AI/ML technologies, and translated the customers’ business needs into scalable cloud technologies. This experience was also leveraged after moving to a top consulting firm, where developing new businesses with clients.Now looking for the opportunity to lead geographically and culturally diverse teams by leveraging the product-out experience of R&D and the market-in experience in customer facing environments.
