E-CORRIDOR aims at providing a flexible, secure and privacy-aware framework allowing confidential, distributed and edge-enabled security services, as threat analysis and prevention as well as privacy-aware seamless access, in multimodal transport systems.E-CORRIDOR’s mission is to define a framework for multi-modal transport systems, which provides secure advanced services for passengers and transport operators. The framework includes collaborative privacy-aware edge-enabled information sharing, analysis and protection as a service.The project plans to show the applicability of this framework in at least two domains:(i) collaborative and confidential cyber threat management;(ii) seamless access mechanism in multimodal transport systems.

Manufacturers all over the world need help from machine suppliers to reduce their operating costs by maintaining and optimizing their factories. However, they will not do it unless they ensure their data privacy, even from their service providers, in particular in case of security leak or malicious third party. Moreover, the American law Cloud Act could inspect all the data stored in their Cloud operator. Until now, no solution for privacy preserving data analysis existed to support this need. Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) is going to change the game. FHE allows service providers to work on customer data without ever decrypting it and revealing the original content. This technology protects data content for both customers and OEMs, it removes a business barrier by providing secure and trustful analytic services. Less than twelve teams worldwide have the capacity to take the technology forward. CEA is one of them. CEA’s FHE technology, for which I play Architect Leader & Coordinator of Booster Project, is close to market but requires a final effort to industrialize. Combination with advanced Acceleration Computation engine, it can now be claimed that these technologies have the potential for being integrated in a number of real-world applications provided these are lightweight enough to cope with the important performance overhead of FHE. Deploying these technologies in cloud computing environment, and assess them in a global OEM cybersecurity study will facilitate a large-scale deployment.
