A rich mix of sports development and business management with a dynamic experience in sports business oversight, hands-on business operations, and driving excellent project management. Being an ardent lover of games, I identified the need for an Esports eco system and founded a tournament hosting organization; Naija Game Evolution (NGE) to launch esports in Nigeria in 2007. I managed all aspects of the business operations which includes equipment procurement, marketing and tournament organization. During this period, I was able to build a strong and well experienced team which aided the creation of the largest gaming community in Nigeria.In 2021, I co-founded West Africa's biggest Esports platform; Gamr and also function as the Chief Operations Officer where I drive as well as execute technical operations inclusive of tournament organization, driving strategic partnerships and cross-functional leadership. A great feat attained thus far was collaborating with the team and notable brands in organising the biggest Esports event in Nigeria, first of its kind; Gamr X. Also, I was able to drive collaboration with Nigerian University Games Association (NUGA), and the Ministry of Youths and Sports to promote Esports and design the framework for sustainable Esports development in Nigeria.
