While fellowship, I was part of newly setup program which is District transformation program, worked with 1 Block elementary education officer, 1 Assistant Block Elementary Education Officer, 4 Resource Persons-Sarv Siksha Abhiyan, 5 Master Trainer and 13 Panchayat Elementary Education Officers, in order to capacitate them with Planning, Facilitation, observation and feedback etc.The District Transformation Program is based on 3 major pillars, i.e. low cost, large scale, and sustainability. During Fellowship, challenges faced by me helped me to self-engineer myself in order to gain various competencies like Team building, multi-tasking, non-violent communication, Liasoning are some of the major. It helped me further my knowledge of the education system and the ground realities and also helped me in developing a growth mind-set.I did a community project helped in completely transforming a school in terms of developing a print-rich atmosphere for the students. UP’s Ex education Secretary, IAS Mr. Harbhajan Singh visited my community project school and appreciated the work I did. Apart from it, District Elementary Education Officer and Department of education had adopted my community project, initiated to take forward across 1000 schools of Jhunjhunu and begun to raise fund. In the last 18 months, while working with the Government system, so I learned how the government education system functions. The fellowship provided me with a good platform and space for carrying forward any work in my domain of interest. I have received guidance from many peers as well as my Program Leaders/ Managers which has contributed a lot in making this journey one of the best experiences for me. Show less
