General InformationThe openBerlin Cisco Co-Innovation Center is a physical space where Cisco can showcase innovative solutions that are already available today but on the other hand it is also opening up the possibilities for existing and new Cisco ecosystem partners to develop south- or northbound of the Cisco infrastructure to cover a full solutions stack that covers the needs of the customer use case. The Innovation Center works with sensor manufacturers, machine builders and software companies to complete that stack. To be able to have a strategic discussion with customers from various industries away from just products or one Line of Business we created Demo Cases out of existing Proof of Concepts where we worked together with partners on solving a specific use case to leverage it in the Center as an inspirational kick-starter for further discussions with the customers onsite.The Center is also a platform to showcase Cisco Investment companies and gather customer feedback about the relevance to the market.The Centers have a more regional approach and openBerlin is one out of 14 Centers worldwide. Each center has different focus areas according to the demands in the country. In Berlin we identified five themes that are being covered by dedicated showcases. We are focusing on Smart Manufacturing, Digital Building, Smart City, Cyber Security and Healthcare.
