At the center for psychotherapy for children and teenagers in Krefeld I work alongside licensed mental health professionals as well as other psychotherapists in apprenticeship completing the practical clinical hours required as a licensed European psychotherapist for children and teenagers.

With a team of psychiatrically experienced nurses, therapists, doctors and other specialists, I case help children (ages 6 - 14) in a semi-residential psychotherapeutic facility at the LVR Clinic in Viersen, Germany.

With a complete team of skilled medical and scientific specialists in pediatric diagnostics I carry out psychological testing as well as administer Neurofeedback Therapy for children and teenagers (Ages 1-18) at a Social Pediatrics Facility at Helios Krankenhaus in Krefeld, Germany.

Working alongside a broad range of clinical professionals in psychiatry, pedagogy, nursing and anthroposophical medicine, I contribute my perspective and methods in psychotherapy to the acutely psychologically and emotionally disturbed children (ages 5-12) in a day-clinic setting at the Gemeinschaftskrankenhaus in Herdecke, Germany.

With a team of trained psychiatrists and psychotherapists responsible for case management, diagnosing of psychological disorders and conducting Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to children and teenagers in North Rheine-Westphalia.

In the Institut for criminal/law psychology under the direction of Dr. Sebastian Bartschek and Sina Klaß a close-knit team of psychometric professionals are responsible for diagnostic procedures and Potential Analyses for children and teenagers in the Ruhr River Valley.

Under the direction and supervision of Univ. Prof. Dr. Martin Tomasik I organize his current research paradigms in:(1) Fine-motor development in German pre-school settings(2) Subjective optimization and ratings of success among North American professionals in Social Psychology

In addition to my Master‘s Thesis in Digital Screen Media Consumption Reduction, I assist parents, teachers, schools, their children and the leaders and creators of the project Univ. Prof. Dr. David Martin and Dr. med. Silke Schwarz in developing „Medienfasten“ to be applied all over Germany. Families during the christian Lent period between Fat Tuesday and Easter plan to spend more time together face-to-face and less time in front of a screen. Hundreds of Families in the Ruhrgebiet in North Rhine-Westphalia are already participating in this Pilot Project. With Univ.-Prof. Dr. Martin Tomasik and other graduate students in psychology and psychotherapy I lead group discussions involving the integration of self-regulation practices in pedagogical intervention and coach debate strategies in developmental psychology to undergraduate psychology classes.

I lead a discussion group with the Bestattungen Vollmer funeral home clients to come to terms with the death of a loved one.

AWO Kita is aprivate daycare facility existing in almost all major cities in Germany. In the Kita in Heidelberg-Kirchheim, I work with a team of other child care educators to look after, plan activities, and track developmental progress in the day-to-day lives of children between the ages of 12 and 36 months.

I administer psychological examinations to children (ages 4-18) to measure their intelligence, academic performance, memory, attention, sensation/perception and overall development. In addition I assist Frau Fies in analyzing the test results and determining an accurate diagnosis.

As part of the One World Language School (OWLS) I teach English to children learning as a foreign language and to bilingual children between the ages of 3 and 6. I also work as a tutor individually with elementary school-aged children. The DAI offers day camps lasting between 2 and 6 weeks during German holiday seasons in which I organize camp activities with other OWL teachers.

We are dedicated to opening new doors through learning to read, write and speak German and by participating in Germanic cultural events. The Children's Summer Treatment Program (STP) has a proven track record of effective treatment for more than 2,500 children and families. Based on its excellence in providing treatment for children with ADHD, the STP has been featured on national television news and in national magazines. The STP has also been used in clinical trials conducted under the auspices of the National Institute of Mental Health, has been named a Model Program in Child and Family Mental Health by the American Psychological Association and SAMHSA, and has been named a program of the year by CHADD, the national parent advocacy group for children with ADHD. I worked with Pre-Kindergarteners (3-5 years) between June and August 2015.

As an advanced German Studies student, I was selected to lead weekly 50-minute German conversation sessions with German 101 students to help and motivate them to use their German in regular conversation setting that does not allow English.

I was selected for this position from a large variety of applicants. I assist the admissions office in presenting Gettysburg College to prospective students, parents, and other visitors who want more information about the college during tours and in information sessions. I also volunteer as a campus host to host prospective students who either have applied and are awaiting confirmation of possible acceptance, those who are already accepted and want to see the college through a Gettysburg student’s perspective, or those who are still deciding between small school/big school, liberal arts or otherwise.

In May of 1957, the Faculty approved in principle an Honor Code and accepted in fact a Constitution for the Honor Code at Gettysburg College. With these measures, the Faculty delegated to the Honor Commission responsibility for the regulation of student academic conduct. The final responsibility for the regulation of student conduct remains with the Faculty.

Working closely with First-Years throughout the First-Year Experience Program (FYE) while living on the floor, assisting them in their academic and social lives as they become more and more acquainted with Gettysburg College. Responsibilities include: community development programing, counseling, academic advising, administrative duties, and emergency situation response. Resident Assistants arte expected to be mature, dependable, responsible, sensitive, and serve as positive role models and leaders for the College.

Together with the friendship of Stephanie Watermann, a Fulbright TA from the University of Göttingen and Jürgen Watermann, the President of The Schaumburg Deutsch-Amerikanische Gesellschaft (SDAG), a community service non-profit project titled "The Schaumburg Project" was held for 1.5 weeks at two Gymnasiums (Rinteln and Stadthagen). In both locations, native english speakers from Gettysburg College worked closely in grammar lessons, cultural discussions, and political talks merging american life with german life. I served over 250 hours working as an Intern at a Neuropsychology Rehabilitation Services (NRS) in a medical arts building across the street from Jersey Shore University Medical Center. I shadowed and observed Robert B. Sica, Ph.D. and Steven P. Greco, Ph.D. I learned how to administer the Halstead-Reitan Neuropsychological Test Battery (HRB) to patients between ages 4 and 84 with a variety of neuropsychological and psychological disorders.
