I am a recent graduate of the University of Virginia, having received a BA degree in Applied Statistics.I have recent experience in research through my participation in UVA’s NanoSTAR research program. In particular, my research consists of assisting graduate students in producing and analyzing transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), such as moldydenum disulfide. I reviewed literature on the processing and properties of TMDCs to help find novel areas to conduct further research in the lab.I have since switched gears to focus on data analytics and financial consulting. Nevertheless, I appreciate my experience in undergraduate research and consider it a valuable learning opportunity. I believe that my background in engineering has primed me to serve well as a data analyst, as my prior coursework has taught me how to think creatively in order to synthesize all available information to find innovative solutions to complex problems.
