In this role, I champion leadership of 19-25 database administrators, with leadership of project management, incident management, release management, and database administration. I report to the Director of Information Services. I hold accountability for implementations, releases, offshore team management, and milestone tracking/reporting for critical deployments. I manage a team 12 DBAs located offshore (Philippines); manage performance reviews, training/coaching, and career planning. I lead and participate in project and team meetings, interacting and collaborating with team members and other business partners. I provide 24/7 support, ensuring database availability and facilitating the resolution of production issues. I host regular status meetings, serving as SME on resource optimization, ERP migrations, and incident streamlining.
