Providing service to the (recirculating) Aquaculture Industry. • Develop and maintain customer/client relationship.• Negotiating and establishing maintenance contracts with State Departments.• Commissioning of equipment such as UV disinfection systems, oxygen generators, ozone generators, low head oxygenators, pumps, vacuum degassers, Rotofilters, biofilters, probes and sensors, controls, full system balancing, etc.• Construction support incl. culture tank installation and equipment installation.• System start-up incl. equipment and system performance testing.• Managing the commissioning efforts for two of the largest Sports Fish Hatcheries in North America. - William Jack Hernandez Sport Fish Hatchery (Anchorage)- Ruth Burnett Hatchery (Fairbanks) In this position I learned the importance of, and how to develop and maintain win/win partnerships. Spending a lot of time in the field has enhanced my engineering and manufacturing background with practical knowledge which I have found to be invaluable to clients, customers and employers. I established working relationships with many hatchery managers and fish hatchery staff whose knowledge and expertise has been helpful and positive.

• Leading the manufacturing, purchasing and shipping/receiving team.• Scheduling Production of fiberglass and full equipment assembly shop.• Responsible for all infrastructure maintenance incl. buildings, grounds, equipment, tools, forklifts, trucks, compressors, etc..• Responsible for compliance to Occupational Health and Safety standards. • Staff evaluations, performance planning.• Developing scopes of responsibilities, a wage scale and skills matrix.• Recruiting staff, establishing training programs.• Team building and time management.In those 2 years I came to understand the importance of developing the long-term capacity of others and to encourage and support innovation.
